Berlin Conversations on Mental Health

2022

Cinematographer | Editor

In the summer of 2022, Nassim Mehran and Margareta von Oswald talked to 23 people in Berlin and asked them about their understanding of mental health. The aim was to learn more about how mental health relates to social inequalities in the city.

This project is part of Mindscapes, an international cultural programme funded by the Wellcome Trust that aims to support a transformation in how we understand, address and talk about mental health. Berlin Conversations on Mental Health is informed and inspired by Wellcome’s mental health programme, and was developed in collaboration with the Berlin University Alliance, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
